What is M-CC?

                                              

Music – a Chance for Change: M-CC is an association founded in Basel in 2003.

Music has brought wonderful experiences to my life, it has revived my hope when I have felt doubt and lack of trust, and has also now become my best means of expression.

I have seen how benefit concerts can not only help found a humanitarian project, but also how through music itself the audience can more easily absorb the meaning of the work being done and the relevance of help they are able to give; that performances at places where people find it difficult or are unable to leave (hospitals, old folks home, etc.) are needed and deeply appreciated by audience and can also help musicians become more aware of the service they can offer.

Through my work with choirs I have been fascinated to perceived the trust and respect that people develop by singing together.

Music builds bridges between people; it can create an open disposition which encourages constructive discussion, or it may create silence where words may no longer be needed. Sometimes music is able to touch places in us to which words only seldom have access; it can be a transforming force within and without.

I want to offer through music, in any way that I can, a service to humanity! YEAH!

M-CC is only a name for that purpose.
