Integration through singing together.

The vecinos.chor is a wonderful example of integration through singing. It was created in 2006 by Theresia Bothe and Camila Toro after their neighbours expressed a desire to sing. Even though the original goal was not to perform in public, this choir has appeared several times in festivals and integration projects with great success! After a presentation in UNION (integration centre in Basel) listeners felt inspired to create a UNION choir which has the same principles: enjoy the music, listen and sing!
